not a bad show but my observations....... tom seems alittle to layed back and not planning for the what if....... eustage, is one the ball, but something seems to be alittle off with this guy. maybe his sister is also his mother or his fathers brothers first cousin??? and someone has to get marty a new god damn snow mobile.. period.. ya'lls thoughts..

I've been tuning in every week only saw marty with a few kills on the trap line...then last time it was on he had two huge bags and it said he was out here for a couple months wish they showed more of trapping the fixing old yellow.

I'm no timber expert, but I did pick on one thing. eustace said he lives off 2k a year, but that same episode, he said he had a timber order of 1,000 boards. wouldn't the cost of that one order alone amount to something close to 2k? let alone all the firewood he supposedly sells and all the people who pay him to come live with him and learn his ways?

I believe he said his annual income from previous yrs was 2k correct.. but he needed to make more this yr to pay the taxes owed on his property.. biggest bulshit thing he did was blame the kid for not sighting his gun in and that's why it misfired. jackass you missed and it wasn't even the same gun...

When Marty ran over his glasses and walked a few feet back looking for them amazingly they weer just laying there, yet they were bent perfectly around the frames and just laying there on top of the fluffy snow. C'mon anyone who ever dropped something in the snow knows its falls right through and to be sitting there all bent up I find that fake.
I find the guy narrating the whole story irritating, he makes everything seem a bigger ordeal then it is. Maybe its his tone of voice.
Does everyone know how far Eustace, Tom and Marty live apart in miles???
