Caretaker shoots assailants at NJ campground

Sounds like another instance of the indigenous "tribe" claiming encroachment on their tribal lands. Up there it is REMOTE I feel bad for the care taker must've been scary. I doubt the guy who was hit will turn up in a hospital they will either fix him up w mountain medicine or bury him in his family cemetary.

If you know those mountains and take a look at exactly where camp Yaw Paw is located it is difficult to imagine anyone else could have been responsible because i doubt anyone else would have been riding that ridge but i of course hope I am wrong looks like the care taker guy may have changed his story. Investigators found no shell casings, blood nor other signs that support the claim that he shot two .357-caliber bullets into anyone. I believe they seized the firearm and are testing it.

I think there is a LITTLE difference between trespassing with an ATV and slamming someone in the head with an object??[wallmad]
ATV rider trespaaing pays fine, ATV rider (or anyone else) that slams guy in head goes to jail.
Guy who lies about story may also end up in jail and lose his gun. Every improper action has a consequence lets not get carried away because they rode an ATV. everyone who drives a car must be a bank robber if a bank robber uses a get away car right? A kidnapper uses a car you drive a car? wow what a stretch guys.[wallmad]

He's a good friend of mine I talked to him this morning its a good thing he was armed or he might not be here to tell his story. They did take his 357 from him which I don't think was right. Why you would disarm someone who is trying to defend himself is beyond me.

Legally, the caretaker couldnt possess the gun unless the cabin was his residence or he was owner of the campground and his name was on the lease/deed... so he may get himself jacked up there. I hate this state [wallmad]
