I might be into something like that.

Maybe even make it video'd hunts. Best footage wins. (camera quality shouldnt be a deciding factor in my opinion)

You mean our partners will get drunk and beligerent when we tell them they arent going hunting like that?

Do we have to talk about scent-blocker the entire time too?:D

First, we made sure the wind was perfect before we hunted the stand. Then we put on our Scentblocker suits so we could just forget the wind and hunt. Our setup was so perfect that not ONE deer made its way downwind of us, but this hunt wouldnt have been possible without SCENTBLOCKER! :D

So who would be interested in this?

Heres what Im thinking for some ideas:

-I think you wouldnt need both team members to be members of NJH, but at least one should be. Everyone who wants in, would sign up saying they have a team member in mind already and whether or not their team member is a member of the site or not. Guys without members would get paired up after sign up.

-Do a series of hunts maybe? One bowhunt per team member, and maybe one firearm hunt per team member if you think that is possible. (I'd like to see all hunts filmed to make it more interesting, so team members would have to alternate between hunts)

-The WMA or State property to be hunted would be divided up into sections. The teams would randomly draw a number (corresponding to a certain section) out of a hat prior to the hunt. You can trade sections with other teams if you can sucker them, err..I mean convince them to.

This could be a lot of fun! Probably need to organize one for North Central and South though.

You dont have to close it off to others.

You just have to be get there early and watch them drive off cursing, like they do when they see the "deer-a-thons" lining up.:D

Its a Team Challenge..Public land has certain variables to overcome and other hunters are part of it..This contest will show who can succeed on state land against others hunters with everything being equal, taking them out of thier comfort zone..Are you up to the challenge??

Would also need more rules.

Do not leave your "zone" until X o'clock as to not disturb other hunters (I envision Kris shooting a big buck and running to everyones stand chanting "in your face, in your face" and ruining any possible chance for them)

We could do it over a serier of WMAs if one would not be big enough, but I doubt we would have too many participants to make that happen.
