I agree DT, they probably been up and around most of the winter and have their "hibernation" as the anti's put it all screwed up. The bear I seen yesterday I lost a couple times in the shadows of the trees, I am willing to bet that they was near bears and just never seen them. Amazingly enough they are pretty dang quiet when the move as well, unless in a trot or run.
I guess hunters and fishermen will always be one up in the biology dept. when it comes to animals.
Baiting I am for because as long as people feed the animals in the neighborhoods we need to get them back into the woods if it is to keep them there or to shoot them. Baiting also helps in getting a more ethical shot with less suffering. I find it a bit hypocritical that the same ones that are trying to protect them are the very same that are signing their death penalties.

yes it was, and about the only time I heard whats her namey get a bit testy was when Gary brough that up and said " that is why she is no longer with us"

I know it...here's how I operate...the louder someone yells at me,the quieter and calmer I reply. The more emotional they get, the more rational I get. Occassionally you'll gain some credibity but it usually doesn't do jack on the person you are talking to, but allows others to see more clearly who the real ahole is. of course, at some point, that person may go too far, and then I turn around and attack like a MF'ing steam roller (to quote Elliot Spitzer). I can do nasty 10X when provoked enough, plus I like the effect when i go from calm to psycho in two seconds...keeps 'em off balance and it can be a lot of fun. I'm really a mean and nasty person at heart, sittin here on the Group W bench with mother rapers, father stabbers, father rapers

but you forget you are talking to/about people with a twisted perception of not only reality but have no care or concern whatsoever for anything factual. It is all a animal murdering conspiracy and that's all there is to it.
My days of "playing nice" are done, been doing it with these clowns since '98. I get tio have some fun now.

Haven't seen them? Ask the people in Union who were crying about the bear in their non-bear habitat. Or what about the bear that just broke into a school.
Where is the proof that the only way to manage bears is with garbage control? That doesn't manage the population, that just manages their appearance in suburban neighborhoods.
