pd were not notified.. they should have been, not my decision, its my dads house i dont live there he decided to handle it personally. i would have reported, guys like this give hunters a bad look

You really should have pd involved! Get them to come out and see the situation and talk with this guy. Get them to make a report on the 2 incidents. Sounds like your gonna need them in the future when a major incident happens. Something not right with this whole story, sorry you dont seem to upset about it. If I had a neighbor shooting at me you can bet your ass pd would be involved or a louisville slugger!

Good call on not calling the pd. it shows your dad is wise and that he realizes people could make mistakes. I'm sure your neighbor is not an asshole and they probably sorted it out like two grown men should.
I'm surprised at how much police intervention people on this site need.

who said its gonna come to that? Maybe the neighbor just doesnt know any better. He probably just needs someone to show him how to safely use a weapon.
The neighbor should definitely pay for damage. Nothings help learning a lesson like paying for a mistake. Those mirrors are expensive.

Safty is a common sense type of thing if doesnt have it likley never will have it.And the mirrors are not that expensive if the poster needs one i will get it for him at my cost.He would need to come pick it up from me.
