No offence take in, the every day or weekend hunter that does have time to scout out or know the differance of bagging a Jake or Tom on public land is almost 65% From harvesting/seeing or hearing a Bird, I belive that its is fair to ad a bird havervest fee for time I set out scouting and giving the op to kill a bird, because next time the the same hunter can do the same on his or her time next season....in the areas shown to them[up][up][up][smoke]

Ken is a great guy and at the very least, you'll have fun.

I think it is more than fair! Especially considering what we already invest in a license, stamps, tags, and fees.

$125 for the chance to harvest a MATURE tom ... not just the first scraggly jake that comes along ... seems pretty fair.

For a person that may have never hunted turkey or who was new to those areas/zones, it could be a day of "learning" that would would easily make the $125 charge seem inconsequential. Simply hunting for 1 day with an experienced hunter can give an observant person a lifetime of experience and knowledge. Having the chance to do it for a patterned or pre-scouted bird where your sucess liklihood is incressed significantly, makes it great deal @ $125 even if they are state birds on public land! [up]

Good explanation. Thanks

This is why NJ desperately needs to put some regulations for "guiding"....Most other states have them....There are no tests, no licensing, no certifications that specifically pertain to guiding...Basically anyone can call themselves a guide and exploit the resources of this state for a profit...

The LAST thing NJ needs is more regulations.

This is a great deal for first year turkey hunters. You will learn the right way to hunt them wether you get one or not. You figure in gas and time and 75 bux is just getting his money back.

Good thing???? You are charging folks $200 to guide them on STATE PROPERTY(TAX PAYER FUNDED)

Ken, is your guide service incorporated? are you An LLC???? Do you have insurence under your licensed LLC??? Do you report "Guide" earnings in your income taxes????

nothing about taking advantage of this STATES resources or any other
Really? State land that is tax payer funded in several zones, access to that land(parking, trails, paths) Maintenence on that land(cutting, mowing, herbicides, cultivation of property, Crops.... ect)..These items are all tax payer funded, NOT FOR YOU TO PROFIT FROM THE STATES RESOURCES..But to give Joe and Jane public a place for recreation(hunting camping fishing) YES, you(Ken) are a TAX PAYER..But that in no way "entitles" you to turn a profit....How are the current "lack of regulations" fair to EVERY OTHER TAX PAYING SPORTMEN???? If you want to turn a profit from the use of state land and RESOURCES fine.......PAY FOR IT, there should be licensing, fees, certifications and other requirments....
