hey haskell,sorry about the date comment,being semiretired,bored sitting home you lose track of date n time.nice catch through iwould eat a few too.a ayoung kid we fished every day.we would even make a fire an cook some right on the shore after,put a stick in their mouth ,held them over the fire,delicious..[tasty][tasty][tasty][tasty]...sure do miss those days.

Why is it ok to keep saltwater fish but not fresh water fish. What's the difference if your gonna eat them all.

Nice catch, I used to camp the Adirondaks for half the summer and if I did not eat a lot of bass and trout I would go hungry in the backcountry. [up]

Nice Catch Haskell [up][up]
I hit monksville aka SKUNKSville for some shore line bass fishing yesterday, the water was still quite cold and there was no sign of any bass activity on the bedding areas, the only thing I saw was 5 Pike or Muskie ranging in size from 12" to 24" hiding in the weeds in very shallow waters as I walked the shore line and kicked them up.
In the end I didn't catch even a sunnie but still was nice to get out

No offence ladies of the board , but I noticed more and more of you guys nag,bitch and gripe about more crap than what you accuse any woman of doing! Haskell did nothing wrong and he eats them so whats the big deal? Just because it don't meet your guidlines it doesn't mean that he is wrong so get over yourselves, shut up and just fish, hunt or do something constructive!

Bass from round valley have to be really good. Crystal clear lake. And I always catch big ones there. I'm gonna catch a limit and then take a picture of the bass laying on the rocks![smoke] but I know one thing. Ill have a hell of a dinner [tasty] maybe kevin van dam will be there to give me a dirty look for feeding my self.

if u have to eat them,should keep 5 of the smaller males enough of them to go around,try and let those big females breed,can ruin a smaller lake taking to many breeding females out,doesnt matter much on a big lake.
