Nothing for size reference but a beaver tail right? Found in woods heading to a river.

Definitely looks like a beaver tail....Does not explain why it is just left to rot

Its that time of year that the beavers shed their tails. Up by me they all shed by mid February. Judging by the blood looks to be from this year. He's gonna be a monster next year. nice find, get it scored, call Sugar.

Could be one of them flying beavers that needs a landingstrip
