I aim dead on, if the deer is very close I might aim a bit high. I expect the deer to drop a little before the shot, so I aim right on. That way even if the deer doesnt jump the string it will hit where I aimed, and if he does itll hit a bit high which is also ok.

I always aim Dead on. Just bend at the waist when preparing to shoot
Same here.

The steeper the angle you should aim a shade lower. I just got a Leupold RXlll w/ the true ballistic range and have seen the dramatic change in true yardage in the stand as compared to the ground. Now I can hold dead on by using the absolute correct pin.

You should practice anyway...guys that can say this have probably already practiced from a stand...or shot enough deer that they know
I always practice from the ground and elevated stand just to insure Im shooting the same and dead on.

None of the above. It depends on where the deer is standing in relation to your treestand. Plus, I picture where I want my arrow to exit and then determine the location I need to hit to get it there.

[confused] I would think that goes without saying but,
just in case that is the natural corse to fallow.

I aim for where I want the arrow to enter taking into account where I need the arrow to exit.
Then I aim dead on that spot is what I meant :D
