Late season buck gets a pass. (pix)

I bowhunted tonight hoping to get a shot at a buck i've been after who is sometimes with this guy. Tonight he wasn't but I gave him a pass. He came in the last 10 minutes of light browsed around and was under me at 5 yards (where I pissed 2 hours prior) and continued to browse without being spooked. Still waiting to take my first archery buck and it being this late in the season I was on the fence but he is small compared to the one Im after so he gets a pass. Ignore the times on cam, I just pulled the card after I got out of stand and he was gone and picked the two best pictures of him.

You did the right thing man [up] He will be a nice buck next season. Good job on the pass. I hope the one your after shows up soon. And if he doest, go out looking for his sheds after he drops them so that when you nail him next year youll have this years sheds [up] I always wanted to do that but never find a set of sheds and usually never see my target buck the following year [wallmad]
