I want it to taste like "WILD BILLS BEEF JERKY" i mad a batch last week in the oven and it came out great. but wanted to try something new this is what i used last week form "DEERSLAYER01"

3 lbs. deer meat cut into 1/2 x 1/4 inch thick strips
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce


But i put a little JACK DANIELS BBQ SAUCE in the mix. but this time i bought some hot sauce instead of the BBQ because the jerky was a little sticky when i use the BBQ SAUCE
 
I did some experimenting making my own marinade earlier this season and it came out pretty damn good. I scribbled everything down on a piece of paper, I'll have to find it and post it when I get home. I can't remember everything off the top of my head but I do remember that I used soy and bourbon as my base.
