Yeah, way to go. Not only are you a bloodthirsty baby killer (I'm sure you've murdered some young ones in your time), but now your daughter is one too. That photo of her with the baby bear's blood dripping onto her leg is one she can proudly post on the mantelpiece, huh? Nice parenting, "Dad".

Yeah, a big congratulations for being SO brave.

Davey is your purpose here strictly a "nana nana boo boo stick your head in doo doo" type name calling adventure or are you actually here to maybe, oh I don't know, educate yourself?

while I it is highly likely it is the former I suggest you try a different approach, you see as opposed to you and your ilk when we go to pages such as the BEAR Group or other affiliated dens of ignorance we use actual facts, science and sound arguments. I highly doubt they like to hear such things but the fact remains they are facts and not philosophical or emotional arguments.

so enjoy your stay here and buckle up Spanky because school is about to begin.

He is brave and a great dad. Unlike your kids this young lady will know what it is like to provide for herself and truly appreciate life. David, you would not last if there was ever a breakdown in society. Sad thing is you do not seem to understand that hunting and using the animals for food has been and will always be part of the world. You are just a loser who in reality probably could not figure out how to wipe your a$$ without real man made toilet paper. That young lady has more courage then you will ever have and her dad is a better man or person then you will ever be.

Why don't you go back to your bear group and talk with yout total of maybe 1800 friends. Take a look at how many hunters are here. We sure as hell out number your little crazy group.

By the way why don't you do something for humans like try to help the crime rate in Newark or Paterson decline where real people are being hurt. Stop wasting your time on bears who will always thrive and will do so more know that real management has been implemented[up][up]

SS!

It's amazing what lack of meat will do to a person.

And David think about this... you are a PETA supporter and apparently an HSUS supporter... perhaps you should rethink supporting HSUS as they support as they apparently support hunting for population control purposes as well as consumption.

Ok, I admit I was too harsh; my only excuse is that I pissed off at seeing the photo of the dead baby bear. If I could take my comments back I would. I apologize.
Thats big of you David and unexpected to boot but truth be told neither of those bears was a baby.
The hunt held here in NJ is a management hunt because sporthunting of bears was postponed longer than it should have been hunters are instructed to take targets of oppertunity.

bloodthirsty baby killer
No.. ethical bear hunter.. much much different.

why don't you do something for humans like try to help the crime rate in Newark or Paterson decline where real people are being hurt.
Because he lives in California, SS. Nothing to do out there, I guess. And besides, those are JUST people.. not cute and snuggly animals. [eyeroll]

Okay, sincere question here.

And I ask this in all due respect to you guys, but do all of you agree that this an honorable and sportsmanlike kill?

To me, baiting a family of bear and then waiting for them to show up for the food you have been putting out is not unlike shining lights on roadside deer. There is no honor or sport in it. It's just killing to kill. And because the hunt is allowed due to the issue of the bears coming around homes for food, is baiting a good idea?

Hunting bears over bait is actually very ethical and honorable. By having the bear come into the bait, the hunter can take a very close look at the animal and decide if this is the bear that he/she wants to harvest instead of just shooting the first bear that walks past [up]
