He was born february 9th 2004 7:09 am
It was a 2 month preemie [rofl]

If the camera stamp is right this buck was 3 or 4 in 2006 this would make him 8 or 9 now if the camera stamp is correct. that's my guess.

I think the trail cam pic from 06 is a different buck, same blood line tho. The brows are always the most consistent tines from year to year and these two deer are completely the oppisite.Great buck!!
4antler, I appreciate your reply and guess, I'd like to debate what you stated for second.

I'm not sure where you got that info or what the info is based it off of, but a deers brow tines in his first few years of life as a juvenile animal will remain the exact same size and shape as a mature animal is just incorrect information.
Fact is, brow tines just like the rest of the tines and rack will hold their main characteristics thru time but as they mature with age most will certain increase yearly in length, mass size, point count as well as in all aspects of its body.

Here’s a perfect case in point; below is a trail cam pic of a young 7 pt. caught on cam that same night in 2006, after only two years of growth, look how he had blown up the fallowing years as a mature, thick, long tined, 9pt.

Notice the brow tine growth in both the trail cam pics, no mistaking that it’s the animal by it’ white muzzle streak or crest.

Same buck 2 years later.

My info and opinion is based on my 29 years of deer hunting experierence, tens of thousands of trail cam pics taken, just under a 1000 sheds found and watching countless bucks grow from year to year.
I didnt say a bucks brows wont get bigger as he ages, they will be the most consistent from year to year.
Look at the buck from 06,he has below average brows,is a main frame 4 by 3,has a small g3 that is a crabclaw.
Now look at the buck you killed, awsome brows, great g3s on both sides that are straight up off the beams, not any kind of crabclaw on the left side. The only thing these two bucks have in common is the sticker on the g2.
The pictures of the other buck is a perfect example of what im saying,as a 1.5 he has small brows with his right one being slightly bigger.now look at him at 3.5(more mature but not a mature buck until 4.5)he has the same consistent brows.although they are bigger they are still on the smaller side but consistent as when he was young with the the right still bigger. They also look alot bigger because hes in velvet.
You asked for opinions and im just giving you my honest opinion.Great buck!!

No disrespect meant, I thank you for your opinion on the deer in the pics, it does leave room for though which was my intent in the post to began with.

Thanks ;)
