That's so un true. I live in Bergen County. This morning I was showing the local bagel shop mayor a picture of my bear. There where 10 people in the place and all wanted to see the picture. The majority said if they lived in bear country they could understand that the bears would need to be kept in check. Only one lady looked angry. The media is our worst enemy.

Animal rights groups constantly ask you to assume that all nonpartisipants are in opposition to hunting and that in its self can only be one of two things stupid or dishonist.
For example a good percentage of the people out there prefer vanilla icecream so are we to assume that they oppose chocolate icecream?
I do not care to huntbears during NJ's 6 day shotgun buck season so those who live with 15 cats and sleep in culvert traps assume I oppose the hunt and that could not be further from the truth.

Sad part is these anti clowns actually think they are the environmental saviors and they know the answers. Yet I'm a hunter, conservative, and a conservationist who works in the environmental industry and actually clean up the environment every day. We are overun with tree huggers in this industry and many with the soft heart of the antis. Only most of these people have gone to school and actually learned and studied conservation...In turn even the one who don't like hunting are well aware of the fact that it is one of the most effective management tools there is. My bet is you probably could not get 99% to be against hunting even if you limited the poll to this industry of environmentalists. Pure lies and propaganda.

IMO The news media creates the "DRAMA" to keep people buying their news papers and watching their talking heads on the TV. The media needs to just report the news and in doing so report the facts not the drama. But reporters may be too lazy to dig a little to get the facts or the editors and publishers are telling the reporters to keep the stories entertaining to keep selling papers and boost the ratings.
As far as I'm concerned there is no more reason to debate with the antis over the bear hunt. The anti bear hunting idiots lost their case in court plain and simple. By debating with them just keeps the drama going, giving the antis more of what they want, attention.
Screw them! Let them wither and die from lack of attention.
