A few weeks ago my sweet pup developed some type of growth on her neck. We brought her to the vet and they told us it could be from her skin not being fully thicken due to her age. They gave us some cream to put on it and told us to get back to them in 2 weeks. Well the 2 weeks are up and it seems to be bigger. We called the vet today and they have Autumn going in Friday morning to have it surgically removed and biopsied. I hope nothing is seriously wrong. Even though she is only 10 months she is part of the family.

Man that bites. I hope she'll be ok. Attila had a lump form on his toe awhile back it turned out to be a cist that got infected. a 3 week corce of anitbiotics and all was well. I;m sure she will be fine. keep us posted.

Mpem, good luck and I hope everything turns out OK. I'm sure it will.:)

It could be that she is one of the smartest breeds on earth and her brain is developing faster than her skull can grow.
Thought she was growing a second head.

Well the procedure when off without a hitch. Her neck looks ugly though and she is a bit sluggish from being sedated. We should have biopsy results by the end of next week for both the cyst and the skin disorder on her shoulder.

hope its nothing bad...i know what its like to have a dog with a disorder..2 of my dogs did...one have bad back legs so she dragged them and she had tumors in here organs last 4th of july and we put her down, and one of the dogs i have now has a heart murmur and a twisted leg from a break when she was a puppy..we might have to amputate...

That's sucks Mike I hope it comes back fine.
Good Luck to you and your pup.

Well today she was pretty much back to her normal self. But I just got a call from my wife and she told me Autumn busted 2 stiches and the wounded opened up. It isn't bleeding. Hopefully it won't. She played hard today though.

COOOOOLLL can't wait!! I'll be going down to greenwood forest for the opner of bird season for quail. it's a lot bigger and the crowds are not so bad. plus they put some pheasants out there last year. after that it's gonna be Whittingham and the Flattbrook only this year.

I'm hitting Greenwood Forest as well. Grandparents live right off of Lacey Road. But probably not the opener though.
