IF YOU WERE RAISED ON HEE HAW, HAD A CRUSH ON ANY OF THE DUKES, ONLY WATCHED CARTOONS ON SATURDAY MORNING, PLAYED IN THE DIRT, GOT YOUR BUTT WHIPPED WITH A BELT (and didn't record it). OR HAD TO PICK YOUR OWN SWITCH, HAD A ROTARY PHONE, HAD 3 TV CHANNELS (You had to get up to change), SCHOOL STARTED WITH THE "PLEDGE", HAD A BEDTIME, RODE IN BACK OF PICKUP TRUCKS, RECORDED THE TOP 40 FROM RADIO ON CASSETTE TAPES, PLAYED IN THE CREEK, RODE YOUR BIKE ALL DAY WITHOUT A HELMET, & YOU STILL TURNED OUT OK...

Well how many ..for me...- 11 of them...never did play in a creek,or recorded top 40 on cassette,or never had to pick my own switch..[hihi][hihi]..dad always had a belt handy

ahh the good ol days. Except I grew up outside Pittsburgh PA, so we swam and played in "Cricks" instead of "creeks".

everything but picked a switch...dad had a belt and when it was time to dole that out wasnt patient enough for me to come back with a switch...good ole days are gone and we are now raising a generation of kids with no idea of responsability,consequences,or ability to stand up for themselves..scary

alot of us have but recently the past several years we been forcefed a bleeding heart liberal society that frowns on good ole american fashions and way of life.WERE SUPPOSED TO BE PART OF A COUNTERCULTURE NOW WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT[down][down][down][down]

Didn't pick a switch....I got the army belt......how about playing baseball and football with the neighbor kids in parking lots......collecting bottles for the return fee so we could buy snacks at the movie theatre every Wednesday during the summer. Milkbox on the front porch....i'm sure there's more.

the old fashioned way ,well put ,ALL OF YOU ,thats why the country is in the shape is in ,no respect ,no values..yeah we turned out ok and we have to teach our kids the same ,maybe not to that extent but surely close to it,if we want a good future in this wrld we live in. [smoke]
