I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of her. My wife has not tagged a buck in 4 years and last year she tried real hard to but she was unsuccessful. Most guys would mess up a shot at a incredible buck like this one including me but, not her. She kept her cool and got the job done. He went 80 yards and piled up. When I picked her up on the road after the morning hunt Thursday she yanked my chain a little bit and said she shot a small tined 10 pointer. She didn't seem very happy and said the shot was not great so I didn't press it. When we got to her stand she said the buck was laying over there in the ravine. As I walked in that direction I could see the deer laying in the brush facing away from me. Then I see what looks like a drop tine and I look at her and she smiles at me. My attention turns back to the deer as I walk closer and I see a matching drop tine on the other side! At this point I am totally ecstatic and keep repeating myself to her, "You just shot a double drop tine buck...You just shot a double drop tine buck!" She says to me "Well, actually it is a ten pointer...it just has a couple of extra points on it!" After a big hug, kiss and a sly smirk from her, I said it again! "You just shot a double drop tine buck!"
