Rich, thank you for giving Erine my phone #, and thank you for telling him to take care of us. Erine said we will be staying in a new house he is building, and would like us to get there early Sunday, so we have time to unpack, relax, and take a tour of the farms. He told me most stands are up already, and the area I will be hunting has a buck in the high 180s to 190" !!!!!!! Also he has 2 other stand locations for me, and has at least 3 stand locations per hunter. He asked how high we want our stands to be, and I told him 18'/20'. Erine, is such a nice guy, he got my blood pressure up. Oh Rich, just to let you know Erine didn't play into your joke like you asked him too, your too much, but hell you got to laugh.[rofl][rofl][up][up]

Wow, that's pretty impressive if you have the guide calling YOU and asking YOU where/how you want stands hung and whatnot. Good to see he has some out there already, definitely getting a jump on them before they move back into their fall/winter ranges and giving early season spots some time to settle down.

Is this your Iowa spot?

BowhunterNJ, yes this is the IOWA hunt. He also wanted to know the height of each of us, he said it means alot with trimming, and also wanted to make sure if we are right or left handed. I agree not many outfitters call there hunters, and ask these questions. I did double check with him about the week we are going (November 13th) versus the week before, he feels the week we are going will be best. Told us to bring our shotguns, and hunt birds, but I will only do that if I'm tagged out, he has certain farms he needs antlerless deer taken off, but he said none of that till you get your buck

Sounds very good, guide is doing his job well...especially considering righty vs lefty shooters on setups.

If I could only hunt 7 days in November, it would probably be the 10th to the 17th. That week of the 13th is when I plan on going to OH myself.

Erine also said don't use anytype of deer scent, leave everything to mother nature, deer call is ok, but use it only if the buck is walking away. The key is being as scent free as you can
