I sat my stand last nite that i have hunted since i was 17, I'm 26 now. I have always had success in this stand it is located in the corner of a field, there is tracks of all kinds coming into the 3 acre field everywhere, there are two scrapes along the field at 20 yds and 45 yds behind my stand and 3 different rubs in front of me along the field edge. last night i sat this stand with a perfect wind for the 2nd time since the season opened. did not see a deer, in 2008 i remember looking back in my log i was seeing 10-15 deer a nite. have not seen a deer at all this year or last year. after about 10 minutes in my stand i see a coyote crawling through the grass towards my corner, i take aim and nail him at 30 yds i saw 2 more different yotes after this till dark. has my spot been ruined, and yes this is public land here in central nj
Possible Major coyote problem!!!

I saw a coyote the other day in Marlboro NJ, and never in my life did I expect to see one there!!! Was totally shocked. I been hunting this spot for 6yrs now, and never seen any sign of one

I hunt in whiting and the totes are all over out here. More near the swamps and open areas but they're here. See them every year. Thank god I dont have them near where I hunt.

If in central could be EHD. IF you did not see the # just for one sit no big deal,deer are use to the yotes. Besides they do a good job on the stray cats, Hunt the yotes, long season on them.

Not where I live, and we have tons of yotes. Counted 5 yotes at the edge of the neighborhood last week, right where all the stray cats live. Yotes were there for a deer carcass.
