Sure. Just started hunting last year my brother in law is a fanatic, he's been hunting for 20 or so years, so I said let me give it a shot. Last year was good couple doe's and a little 6 pointer nothing to brag about but a great 1st year. I have a little piece of property in zone 13 that i hunt and it's a honey hole. Put the cam out at the end of August and had 4 or 5 different bucks coming in and 1 lone doe. Kinda weird since last year it was the exact opposite. Anyway we had some pics of this older huge bodied 6 point coming in but only at night. 2 weeks ago I took care of the doe coming in and now was after this guy. I went out on Monday afternoon and got in my stand @ 3:30 and sat. Aound 5 i saw a red fox interesting can't believe how fast they are. Anyway @ 6 I text my brother in law and tell him I haven't seen a tail. He replies be paitent. So I figure give it another hour and I stand up to be ready for that last hour. 15 mins. later out of the corner of my eye I see movement. I take a look and see a HUGE body but can't see the head. A few mins. go by and he pops up his head and he is the BIG 6. I cannot tell you how nervous I am at this point. I grab my bow and attach my release as he continues to walk torwards me. My heart is beating a thousand times a min. He walks perfect broadside 20 yrd shot and I let it rip. I saw it hit him but wasn't 100% sure because I was shaking so bad! I text my brother in law I SHOT THE BIG 6! He's on his way to help so I get down and look for my arrow. Nothing, no arrow, no blood and I feel sick! I know where he ran so I follow that. Still no blood, not good. I continue to follow hoof tracks and come to a stream, now I see blood. ALOT of it. I look across the stream and I see an antler sticking up and a HUGE body. Let me tell you the trail cam and the pics do this deer no justice. He is big and old and just an awesome buck. Sorry for the long winded story but I am still on cloud 9 and I am so thankful to my brother in law for getting me hooked. There is no other feeling like it. Enjoy and good luck to everyone..........
