1991 Toyota 4x2 Pickup For Sale
Red with Charcoal Int.
4 Cylinder Ultra Reliable 22re Engine, 5 speed, clean title, CD Player, sliding rear window, new windshield (old one had chips), has AC (but needs repair), the timing chain was replaced (have receipt), all 4 shocks replaced recently, Michelin tires in great condition, well maintained & comes with a Delta storage box. Truck has aproximtly a 155,500 last time I checked, its a 3rd vehicle.

I have owned this truck for about 7 years now and it was bought from a close friend. It's extremely reliable, gets great gas mileage and runs and drives great. It's not a rust bucket and these trucks are hard to find in descent/good condition & sell quickly. I really wanted a 4x4 extra cab Toyota (been looking for like a year) but the pricing on any Toyota pickup is just nuts. After a year of looking I gave up and bought something else the significant other can drive (not a stick, 4x4 and more family friendly) - Asking 2,500 or b/o Please no Low Ball Offers or I will keep it!

If I kept the truck I would eventually get a new exhaust installed before my next inspection & check the back brakes. The fronts were just replaced. It also does not have a back bumper, it was rusty so I removed it as it looks much nicer. I never towed anything so I didn't care to replace it. The reason I never had the AC checked was I use the truck for hunting (fall & winter), fishing and picking up stuff for the home. So I never really had a need to use it. It could be a simple fix I dont know.

I'm flexible on the price but it would be nice to see this truck go to someone starting out in a trade like a painter, electrician, handyman or someone like me that could use it for hunting and honeydodays. You know picking up stuff from HD, etc. If it didn't run good I wouldn't post it on NJH. But it really is a good truck and so I figured I would post it here. (esp since I know how hard it is to find a reasonably priced pickup)

Truck is in the Brunswick area (Central NJ)
Pm me your email address and I can forward you my contact info and a picture, etc. Remember its a 91 so its not perfect but its def not embarassing to drive.

I just want a fair price and would like to see it help someone out instead of being shipped like they do with most of these trucks. If you look around online and read reviews people get over 300k miles out of these trucks. I guess that's why they hold their value so well.

I just don't want to be driven nuts over a cheap truck. If someone could post a picture for me that would be great. Thanks, Mike

I justy wanted to say thank you to fellow NJH members for helping me post a picture of my truck. Its sold and was an awesome truck... and a great deal. So thanks for your help. This isnt a true forum its a group of butt buddies who stick together and act more like a click. Surely someone could have offered to help me post a picture.

So thank you very much fellow members!

Just read you post for the first time. If I knew you needed help posting brother I would have helped. It took me a lot of time to get my pics up. There is a post that one of the members put in the HOW TO section. It is how to post up pics. I actually printed it out as a cheat sheet. Sucks when you need help and you don't get any.

when over 200 people read a post and no one offers any help or comments its a little upsetting. Its not like I'm a fawn on here geez mainebux thank you for responding My point is people esp on here should be trying to help others. I took less for my truck because the people who bought it needed help, yet I cant even get a comment or assistence in posting a picture. Someone out of the 200 plus that read my post could have helped. Other forums like archerytalk I would have 10 people offering to post my pis or help me out. Its like this sight is a selective group and your either in or out. I guess its good for viewing pictures and listening to complaints about stolen treestands, etc. yeah I guess I am a lil pissed off

i cant figure out how to put on pictures here either, im a newby to the jersey hunting world being a PA boy my whole life, but i cant believe nobody would help you thats not right!
all yo have to do is ask im willing to help anyone... need help send me a pm and i should respond within a day and will help as much as i can

Dude your post was long winded, I don't about the other 200 or so readers, but I stopped reading it after the 2nd paragraph. If you need help next time, shorten your post and try making your request for help in bold and/or CAPITAL LETTERS.

Never saw your post, would have gladly posted the pics for you.

ALSO next time all you really need to do is look in the sites HOW TO section and there is a thread with step by step picture posting directions ;)

I did the same thing. Yes, someone should have helped you out, but you could have done a search and figured it out. Glad you sold the truck in one day.[up]

I agree it was a little long my post. But in general people go nuts over these trucks so I tried to answer an explain a lot to avoid a million questions. NJH has a lot of contractors, fisherman and obviously hunters. It was a really good truck and I am sure it would have helped someone out esp if their hurting for money.

Constructive critisism is always welcomed. I just know if the truck was posted with a picture attached there was a good chance someone on here could have benefited. Was I a lil cocky with my post maybe, but we all know what a pain it is to sell something.

I did read the sticky about posting a picture. But I assumed maybe there was an easier way to do it like copy and pasting it. Thats why I asked.

I posted not because of lack of interest in the truck but to try and help someone on a forum in which I'm a member. As far as those who stopped reading it by the 2nd paragraph well obviously you were not interested in the truck.

Regardless thanks for those who commented.

Truck is sold and it went to a good home which makes me happy. Stay cool... :)
