Just Got Back From Canada

Hopefully we can get a group of NJH members to go next year. I will call the lodge that I go to up there, and get the ball rolling this summer, for September 2007

Catskill...how could you or anyone give someone a hard time about an animal they took.( friends busting chops aside)It was a legally taken animal and memories that will last him a life time. No different than taking a 40 pound deer. A trophy in the eyes of the hunter who took it. And that's all that matters.

Shouldn't have to either.

My first bear in Maine was taken while hunting with a group of friends (7). After shooting it and realizing it wasn't quite what I wanted and probably wouldn't make any record book, everyone wanted to know if I was going to make a wallet out of the fur.[mad] Oh well, I endured the Ballbusting until I took a nice bear 2 yrs later.

Point is it was done with friends, a trophy to me at the time and still today, and the BB by the friends was part of the hunt. [up]

Way to go Chris, looks like you had a hell of a hunt. [up]
