GG's getting out of hand

My buddy has a 12 backyard thats holding about 6 or 7 groundhogs and I'm tired of hitting giant holes when running the tractor. It's one big open field and majority of the GG's are in the back middle section (about 300 yards or so from the house and 100 yards from any cover).

It would be easy to shorten the distance and dispatch them with the rifle. However, I'm just finishing up tuning my bow in and I would prefer to dispatch them with that. Any suggestions?

P.S.- they spook easy

Try putting a blind or 2 out. They will get used to it and then you can take care of business[up]
