Why ask? If they are causing havoc on your property just do it. Better than trapping and moving it 10 miles down the road.

Jerseybowhunter...where you are...you could shoot squirrels all day long and not eliminate the problem....you kill 2...2 more move in...it's like they have a network or something....but...that shouldn't stop you from trying

United Exterminators in Cherry Hill said it was legal to trap and kill in NJ ... not trap and relocate.

A man in Parsippany last year was charged with a crime because he accidently left the squirrel in the trap while he was away, and the rodent starved to death (which they do very quickly).

Ask the guy(laywer) from spring lake who killed squirrels in hsi back yard last year. His wife turned him in (called the cops) he was found guilty of cruelty and fined.

Don't break the law. Just do things right. The anti hunters love reading this kind of stuff for fuel for the fire.

Yeah and his wife actually turned him in.

wait till the fall when it's legal be sure you are abiding by all other laws.

yeah, but he was trapping them and then drowning them in his koi pond. that's where he went wrong. i dont see a problem with shooting them or trapping and re-locating, but drowning is a little unecissary. i know that's an old-school way, but just wrong.

Its not squirrel season, you cannot legal shoot them. Call fish and wildlife and see what they suggest.
