To hold a tourny like that you still need a permit and if you go somewhere with boat rentals you also have to have a working live well to keep fish alive. And you hold a charity tourny using the WWP you have to set it up with them 1st. No place around here rentals boats with live wells...But I'm in for a buddy style tourny
If the t is in Nj you only need a permit on a WMA. If you want to donate to a group or organization I would suggest a 50% payout that way you would get a good showing. when it comes to fishing it is hard to get people to show and pay to fish with a zero return. As for places with boat rental i would shy from them for the sheer fact of what it would cost them just to be able to weigh in live fish if they do not have their own boat. this is just my opinion. but you have good intentions, it is a little more invovled wth a catch and release t

i think we should have 2, 1 for northern guys and 1 for us southern guys, but i agree, winner gets %50 and the other %50 goes to charity

How many of you guys have your own boats? If we have enough boats we could just get everyone on them. Hopefully we will have enough boats to just get everyone on.

If you have it at Manasquan you can have an after the trny BBQ here at my place. I am 2 minutes from the res. I have plenty of parking for trailers.
Run it from 7am to 2pm and be eatin by 3pm.
Let me know JBB. I can set everything up for you guys. Grill, tarps, fridge, tables, chairs.

Lake muskynetcong has good bass and there is a shop that rents out little motor boats. Just a thought. It is up north by rt 80
