NJ TROUT OPENER !!!!!

First guy to find the Barrel in the pics gets a jar of 4 year old Mikes Pink salmon eggs !!!!!!!!!

To guys that found a peaceful spot to get away from the elbow to elbow fishing today [up][up][up].

And they wonder why this is a put and take state.

REALLY wished their was more funds for our fisheries here and they float stocked again.
spreading out both the fish and the crowds.

Pretty nice out at least everyone got a break in the weather.

Go out tomorrow and it won't be like that. I used to get excited for this stuff. Missed it today.
Actually, that picture of the Asbury Bridge is missing about 50 people from what it used to be.

What dam is that, Capt. Dan?

Put and take isn't that what they are there for? Who said it was fishing? Just another way of doing something. Be glad that they are doing what they enjoy rather than sitting behind keys complaining about what others do or don't do?

Some just like being out on that particulair day with others ever think of that?

I went out last Sat. in Pa. took 4 on wooly bugger and cleaned them and gave them to my Mexican gardners who help me in my garden. The state put them and I took them on fly and gave them to someone else to eat.

Maybe some of these guys will do the same.:p

Pics are from above and below the Dam at Clinton. Asbury mill. and camp car.
There was probably another 70 guys at the mill that I couldnt get into the picture (some in the hole , others across the street.

Cat point is places like the mill, all those plus probably forty more guys are fishing in 1 holethat 1 fisherman can cast and work properly.

Post was about wishing the STATE would change the way they stock so that this WASNT what fishing in NJ had come to.

Some just like being out on that particulair day with others ever think of that?

YEA OK , everytime someone catches a fish the rest of the crowd frowns, and th efirst snag they look at you like you stole the cookies out of their lunch.

Fishing is alot more fun when its PEACEFUL

Hate opening day for that reason. Girls have a Softball Tourney tommorrow....Probably get out during the week a little...maybe. Good luck to everyone who got out.

In many ways it is akin to the first day of six day firearm. It is the only time you will see a lot of these people. Well, maybe today and stocking days. It is about people getting out. Especially, those with kids. To each their own. I do agree about fishing being better enjoyed in a peaceful setting.
