How about making a video where you can actually see something. I'd assume that thing sticking up off the back of the crossbow is your decocking attachment, if so then I'd also assume it is not on the x-bow all the time?? If so how would you shoot it with that thing sticking out below the scope? Do you carry it around and hook it up to decock?

Pity TenPoint does not share your love for their design. The recommended and the safest way to unload your crossbow is to fire an arrow into a suitable target or rock-free ground.
Jay walking is not the safest way to cross to cross a street either. Meanwhile millions of people do it safely everyday all across the world saving themselves from neeedlessly wasted time and energy...[eyeroll]

(Try stepping outside the box someday...you might like it.[rofl])

Good Luck to your buddy on his invention [up]

My Favorite Parker De-cocking method :D

excalibur dvd shows u how or i will
Funny as hell !! I followed their instructuion to the tee and man I got a surprise of a life time when I pulled that trigger. I had shoulder surgery a while back so I was using that Excaliber and I tried to uncock it and when I pulled the trigger that cocking aid rope slipped out of my hand and WHAAAMO !!! scope got half riped off by the rope. I have to adimt after shaking a bit I had to laugh my ass off because never in my life did I think my shoulder was that weak that I couldnt hold that cocking rope.

I don't have alot of crossbow experience, so from that perspective it is kind of difficult to tell exactly what is going on in that video. I do see you pull the trigger and then a nice slow release of the string, however it is not clear how that came about. Good luck with your product!

Sorry about the poor video, a better one is in the making. That video was shot with an iphone indoors with poor lighting. This is a device that weighs 2.5 lbs. I is about 13" long 3" wide and 3" wide. After removing the bolt from your "cocked" Xbow, simply strap this device on the topside of the buttstock, hook the 2 snap clips to the bowstring on each side of the rail, insert the stubbed dummy bolt which is on a short tether to the snap clip, pull back the drawblock and pull the trigger. Takes about 30 seconds overall to do. Saves your xbow limbs, bowstring, bolts and you rotator cuff! Will work on about 90% of the xbows out there. Will sell around $89-$99. Will be out in July. I'll get you a better video when available.[up][up][up]

Good luck with your product.[up] Check your PM. ;)

unloading a xbow is a lot of hype ... when i got my first xbow i thought well im gonna have to cary a block to fire in to and thats sucks cause i was shooting 390fps and the only thing that woud stop that is a web well any hows come to find out all you have to do is shoot it in the ground at point blank range.. simple ive been useing the same bolt now for three years ..never had a problem [up]
