A group of the NJ taxidermist went to the American Museum of Natural History.We went behind the doors and saw many things that most can not see. All I have to say is WOW!

Here is the first mount ever done by Carl Akeley in 1877 for his aunt. (canary)

This is a painting done of the Mountian Gorillas diorama as it looks today. It was done by Stephen C. Quinn (2010), senior project manager in the department of Exhibition. Like the artists on Carl Akley's 1926 expedition, Quinn used field sketches and paintings to document the area's flora and fauna, recording the changes that have taken place over the last 80-plus years
