Headed to the USCG HQ in Manhattan yesterday to renew my Capt's Lic. Went over on the Staten Island Ferry.

Day started out seeing the SI Ferry Pirate, guy dressed up like a Pirate that just rides the ferry back and forth all day.

Upon getting to the USCG HQ I saw 6 NYPD officers sealing off the parking lot near the entrence to the building, as I walked up I saw a Turkey Buzzard standing there. One of the officers came up to me and said, sir you can't go past there's a dangerous animal. Looked at the officer and told him it was a Turkey Buzzard, that it was most likely there to eat something, and sure enough there was a dead squirrell not far from him. Told the officer to remove the Squirrel and the buzzard will go away, wand I walked in the building. (City Boys)

Completed my business and when I came out the Cops, the Buzzard and the Squirrel were gone. Rode the ferry with the Pirate. Then headed to lucnch.

Highlight of the day was Lunch at Big Stoshes in Linden Great Kelbassa and Iccy Cold Barley Pops.

This is why I love NYC and the people there. He'd probably freak if he saw the amount of wildlife that hangs out in my yard.

Thanks for posting the pic of that sandwich.

Innocent people damn near lost their lives today because I needed my fix after seeing yours.[rofl]
