i butchered my deer last night and took the select meats and wrapped them. the remainder i need to turn into chop meat, i live in bergen county. anyone know of a butcher who does this, and how much should i pay?

just buy a grinder. you will be able to do it as much as you want in the future for free.

I just realized we got a Kitchen aid as a gift when we got married and we wound up giving it to my wife's mother or grandmother since we didn't think we would need it and they always baked.:( Having my wife ask if they still have it or use it:D. Might have to get me one of those grinder attachments.

Kitchen aid sucks. I burt ours out in one day.kitchen aids are for making cookies.
You've obviously never tasted my chocolate chip venison cookies[ko]
Catfish, you do know you're supposed to skin and de-bone the deer before lowering it into your wife's Kitchen Aid, right? I can only imagine what you did to hers[lol]

I can help you out. I charge 1 beer per 10 lbs of meat ground.* Located in Warren County.

* 6 beer minimum, so if you bring 40 lbs I still need a 6 pack [drinking]

Lol. I tore it up. It made all kinds of noises. She flipped I had to buy a new one and then my own grinder.

You don't need a butcher... just go and buy a meat grinder. If you don't want to spend a lot of money you can get a hand grinder, that's what I have. its not hard and with a helper after taking out the select cuts we can grind the entire deer in less that an hour...
