i butchered my deer last night and took the select meats and wrapped them. the remainder i need to turn into chop meat, i live in bergen county. anyone know of a butcher who does this, and how much should i pay?

just buy a grinder. you will be able to do it as much as you want in the future for free.

My local butcher does not do venison anymore because he said the state wants him to have all separate equipment in a separate room for any venison he grinds or butchers.

I just realized we got a Kitchen aid as a gift when we got married and we wound up giving it to my wife's mother or grandmother since we didn't think we would need it and they always baked.
Having my wife ask if they still have it or use it. Might have to get me one of those grinder attachments.

I can help you out. I charge 1 beer per 10 lbs of meat ground.* Located in Warren County.
* 6 beer minimum, so if you bring 40 lbs I still need a 6 pack [drinking]

Lol. I tore it up. It made all kinds of noises. She flipped I had to buy a new one and then my own grinder.
You don't need a butcher... just go and buy a meat grinder. If you don't want to spend a lot of money you can get a hand grinder, that's what I have. its not hard and with a helper after taking out the select cuts we can grind the entire deer in less that an hour...
