I had this doe around until the heavy snow, She has a bad left rear leg and always holds it up. Never walks on it. I did find a carcass last week and I think the coyotes got her. She looked skinny and boney.

Stevo it's pretty cool how they can get by but if a group of predeator corners them they don't stand a chance. Look at the stance on your deer. The three legs look like a tripod.

I would harvest that animal, first time I saw her.

That reminds me of a doe I shot years ago that had only three feet.
My Dad made a big thing about it with all the members of our club at the time.
They gave me the highly prized "Three Footed Deer Award",
boy was I proud that season.
Sure which I had it to show you guys...[rofl][rofl]

Gruntmaster. Maybe the seasons are closed where you hunt but as per the NJ wildlife digest I can hunt till February 12 with the muzzleloader and February 19th with the bow. I hunt in zone 12

i just shot a small doe on friday afternoon, she came in with a larger doe and a button buck and she was getting chased by a nice 1 horned buck, i took her at 35 yards with the xbow and after i recovered her i noticed she had been shot before, looks like someone took a shot with a muzzy on her and it went in her shoulder and through her arm pit area and out under her chest, must have been a near straight down shot. she looked fine and wasnt even limping when she came in, truely amazing how tough these critters are [up]

never know with deer man....tough tough animals....i like to consider myself pretty tough but if you put an arrow through any part of my body i'll drop like a sack of potatoes

Didn't see her tonight but another one showed up.
The freezer is looking good!
Way to go Tom I was pleased when I got your text last night. I knew you would get one based on the images from when I last pulled the memory card. They were coming in groups of 2 to 10 starting at 2:30 all the way up to dark. It's really been a pleasure hunting with you this season and as long as I still have the property you are invited to hunt again next year :)
