I couldn't agree more that F&W COs are underpaid.
Considering the educational requirements and the low pay together is a testament to the dedication that these guys must have to conserving our ethical hunting and fishing heritage. [up]
That is one reason why posts that run along the lines of 'my friend's cousins's best friend's neighbour saw COs letting LEOs of the hook' sicken me.
I put a post up specifically for people to post actual details of actual events - and got nada - this shows that they have no truthful accounts to relay.
No recent ones at least - I do believe GVS's eye witness account of the guy getting the unfair 450 ticket but that happened a long time ago from what I recall.

People in general, especially on this site seem to focus on the NEGATIVE all the time. I have this Murphy guy following my ass all the time. If you always look for the bad, that is all you will ever find. Sounds goofy, but true. TOO many people on this site are like the media, only bad stuff comes out, if the news was more positive we would all look at life differently.

Everyone on here keeps saying to call the CO for poachers and what not, so call the state and report the CO Gary. The only way to get rid of him is to start a paper trail. I have never had an issue with a CO, they have always been great.
