plus it dont have the range of a 22 if you miss.i"ve dropped rabbit's and 2 geese ..years ago when i was in pa.young and dumb

i watched a guy trying to sell Gamo airguns drop a wild boar in his tracks with one, my neighbor shoots squirrels off his bird feeders all the time with 1, the farmer i buy corn from shoots them from his window when they are near the bags of corn, everytime i go there, theres squirrels laying everywhere

At my house in pa i stalk the shit out of critters and pick them off like its my job..
At my house theres a huge stone wall that i walk behind and pick the birds off my neighbors bird feeder, she caught me one time cause there were 3 birds in her pond lamo

They should allow squirrel hunting with a regular 22. They should also allow deer hunting with a handgun and/or rifles chambered to big bore handgun cartriges. Probably never happen though.

airguns are a great way to practice shooting and save alot of money on ammo, and you can do it in your backyard unlike muzzleloaders or slunguns
