We did good today 8 bucks 5 does
short story ,i climb down with my climber as im undoing the rope on my gun i hear leaves, see a doe being chased by a nice 8 a wide 6 right behind. he gets to 50 yrds i drop him he doesnt move. i reach to get my backpack and call my wife and i look and hes running up the hill like he was never hit. i pull the trigger forgot to chamber the next round because i thought he was dead. he ducks a fence and dissapears. right where he ran 5 minutes later i hear 2 shots. there were 5 guys in that next valley. there wasnt even any blood where he layed or where he ran or where he went under the fence[confused] thats 3 good bucks i missed this yr hat trick 1 with bow i with muzzy and 1 with shotgun. bad bad yr

man this wind is killing us, hopefully the second half of the week will be better. congrats to everyone who connected today. all i saw was a little one then a club set up in front of me and kill a 5 pt
