Stopped there this morning to get my PA License and some odds and ends. I usually don't buy anything there I don't have to because they are twice as expensive as anyone else and have major attitude. We walked in the door at 9:25 a.m. ( Door was open ) The guy sin front says " we're not open yet, 9:30" however, a few people were already in the store so he just said "OK Go ahead" My Dad and I get back to the license counter and this Dick behind the counter says "We can't help you, we're not open yet - Who let you in?" I say "the guy up front" and he says " We'll just see about that" and leaves from behind his counter to go up to the front. We're talking 4 or 5 minutes early and this Douche Nozzle was just leaning on the counter bs-ing with his pals. He finally comes back and by that time someone else was already helping with the licenses. What an A-Hole. Way to be customer friendly. I will forever tell anyone I know that this store sucks and these folks are gen-yoo-wine Peckerheads!

I like Effingers...while they are a bit more expensive on some items, they have a pretty good selection and they are close. Ever since Rays closed up, they are the only game in town.
yeah i live 5 minutes from there.
the prices are not jacked on everything, some stuff is what you would expect, but some other stuff is extremely expensive. especially the clothes. they dont even have a very good selection of camo.
i have been helped by people who were really nice and had no problems, and other times i walked out of there thinking what a d bag.

And they have taken total advantage of that.
I knew Rays, and Effenjerks are no Rays. They should stick to selling soccer cleats. I support local shops but I think they just take advantage of being the only place around for miles that serve that area. I'm not far from them, but I'll go to Flemington, about the same distance, everytime.

Effingers is my last resort. i think 2wice before dropping my dough in that place. there was an old dude in their that had a military flat top hair cut that was an absolute prick. their prices are straight up funny. like we live in the dark ages and don't know what shit really costs? C'MON!

I am glad to see it's not just me. A few of the guys in there seem for whatever reason to be a$$holes. Like I said I only go there cause it's convenient once a year to get my PA license. I wuld never throw them a dime if I didn't have to. Seems like a lot of folks have had similar experiences. "Effinjerks". haha that's a good one that I will use from now on. [up][up]

I went there with my brother inlaw to have.a peepsite put on his bow in sept.The guy told him he can't do it that he had to call ahead of time to get it done... Lol thank god for Stokes Sports Shop the only people who tuch my bow
They suck big time, over priced and poor customer service. Went there to get my license one day walk up to the counter 3 guys BSing for 5 mins knowing i was right there, finally ask what i need it then he then say nothing and look at the other guy then he help me. wtf do i owe them money or something? i stop going there after that. i just get my license from walmart or i drive to Cabelas in PA if i need to get stuff. Try Heritage Guild in Branchburg on Rt. 22, heard their archery dept. is great, the gun selection is great, and the staff is awesome! =)
A friend of mine had a bad experience there last year and spoke to a manager about it who said he will look into the issue but I guess it's still the same as before. For me it is convenient as it is close to me, I get what I need and go, I mostly shop online unless I really need something in a hurry.
I hate Effinjerks. The counter people are rude, and they are overpriced on everything. I'd rather drive anywhere else and be treated like a valued customer than go to Effijerks and be treated like garbage.
I don't think complaining to the owner or manager will help because it's been like that for years and obviously that's the business model they've decided to operate with.

Never under estimate the stupidity of your fellow man.As for me,you couldn't pay me to go to that store.Rotten,nasty disrespectful bunch as I have ever seen.I talk with my money and feet.
