My daughter has been shooting the buckhammer from her H&R 20 without any problems so far. Sorry for the unfortunate luck, she sounds like a trooper though.

I have heard of shells not firing in those H&R's.
It not just the H&R's I've had it happen in my encore and mossberg. The ammo companys had a hard time for a while to get primers and the primer company quality contol went to crap trying to keep up with demand. I've seen shell not fire and took them apart to find the primer empty[mad]

She passed up 11 deer today waiting on one of the three bucks we had on camera. She sat from 6AM all the way to 5PM.
Thats a trooper right there she deserves alot of credit[up] Sorry to here about your misfire[down] gun issues you will work out and we will see pics soon with your daughter and her deer[up][up][up]

I have an old savage 20ga and have had trouble with Remington and Estate shells. Primers seem a bit too hard though they show signs of a good hit.

Whenever I try new ammo, I make sure I've put a few boxes flawlessly downrange before I trust it in the field.

What a shame. She was patient and waited for what she was hoping for and that says alot. She is experienced beyond her years and that's thanks to you. She'll get another chance, I'm sure, as good things do eventually happen to good people too :)

WOW, thats a rough one. But sounds like she is a real trooper/ Congrats on her determination and disciplin [up]
