Please help prevent a fatal black bear attack in New Jersey. Help keep New Jersey's record at zero fatalities. Support the bear hunt. A hunt is both responsible, necessary and supported by research. It's a matter of public safety. Call the Governor at 609-292-6000 and thank him for his leadership in supporting a hunt.

This is a bear management hunt, not a trophy management plan.

No legitimate reason to omit bow hunters from the hunt. Until we can "manage" them with bow and arrow too, I ain't helping.
I see that you're a bow hunter. Interesting quote from my perspective. If people who were very instrumental in getting Sunday Bowunting and the 150' bow perimeter bill passed took the same attitude - these laws wouldn't have been passed. Some of the key people that helped to get these laws passed aren't bow hunters. If they said "I'm not a bow hunter so I ain't helpin" you'd be disappointed I'm sure.

I'd say that we're very fortunate to have people that aren't strictly looking out for their own self interests or we'd get very little done.

Reason #51 70% of my deer bow hunts are ruined by Boo Boo and his buddy's showing up under my tree at prime tme blowing out every deer in the area[wallmad][wallmad][wallmad]

As Jonny Rico Says "I'm doing my part" I got my permit in hand and 9 bears on the cam. One of is taking the long nap[smirk]
