In 1980 I turned 8 my father took me. This will be my 30th shotgun season. 30 years later my father and I still bow hunt, muzzleload, and next month will be our 30th year shotgun hunting. We have not shot alot of deer on shotgun day but we have had some great laughs.

Shotgun and bow in 1980 from Ross Sport Shop in Elizabeth...wow I can't believe 30 years ago at age 14[eek]

Took some years off when I moved to NJ, then got back in to it. Looks like to wife wants me to take more time off...[cry][wallmad]

Been hunting since 1959 and bought my first license at levi's hardware on S Broad Street in Trenton

1968 for bow 68 or 69 for gun.
Driers sports in Plainfield or was it Rays on 22 (On the south side e. bound lane) or was it Coles sporting goods in Scotch plains (Of Freddy C fame?)all long gone now.

I was around ten when I was first brought into hunting, but just like most kids I loved fishing more so I didn't really get into it for several years, although I've always loved and was fascinated with archery I can't remember a time when I didn't own a bow I never connected the two till buddies of mine who bow hunted got me hooked on it and like a junkie on smack ever since then Bow Hunting and being a Bow Hunter is not just something I do, it is WHAT I AM ;)
Been involved in hunting just about 30 years, took my archery test at Butts and Bows and I believe I bought my first hunting license in Metzers sporting goods.
