So dont you mean, 'yes' they should be banned?
Yes they should be banned. I was trying to say "NO" to drives being allowed.

clubs like hook and hoof shoots anything that moves.
actually they dont..hookand hoof sportsmen club 9 not to be confused with hook and hoof guide service is an outstanding club, they frive hard all week during six day. they do NOT participate in doe day drives nor did they. a few members from h and h and other clubs ran semi organized drives, it was never affiliated with the club

I have a crazy idea - First day or three days no drives. After that get 'em moving.

It allows for the guy who really pre- hunted a set up and still allows for drives.

Some places you gotta do drives if its really thick.

Personally I do not do full out drives - meaning just one guy pushing toward 2. DO this occasionally in bow season too like near the end of permit bow.

Bump for the morning crew! It's real close!

imo any kind of ban on any hunting is a bad thing and a step backwards. This subject comes up year after year.We as hunters woryy too much about what method or weapon the other guy is using.just get in the woods and take it all in.We all know that during six day state land gets driven hard.I have sat in stafford forge while the clubs were pushing. It worked to my benefit, well almost.I setup early and got in deep.I watched these guys pushing.Well i also watched a nice buck lie down and wait for them to walk thru. The buck then got up and walked the opposite way towards me unfortunately I had no shot in the thick brush.I don't hunt much at all with the gun.I really just love to bow hunt but would never try to take away someone else's way of hunting.

I dont do drives, but it is legal. Would not want to take that option of hunting away from anyone. What if they wanted to take away tree stands, if they said unfair advantage. Makes no sense to add anymore restrictions on hunting methods.

Deer drives is a tradition, My great grandfather drove deer back in the late 1800's and into the early 1900's My grand father drove deer. they have a place here. I do not drive myself and wish brown is down was not a method, but they have the right based on law and on tradition.( not all drives are brown is down I may add) Besides I set up in 6 day to take advantage of the drives [rofl]

you know I have been told that if the sportspeople in this state could ever stand together we would have the biggest voting block in the state. we would have right to carry, there would be real positive habitat improvements and the list goes on. That will never happen, and we will one day loose! Because we can't even get along and let the other guy do what ever lawful method of hunting or trapping or fishing he or she likes, because we don't.:(
