This year I wanted to focus on mentoring some new hunters and seasoned hunters that have never been able to take a deer. Today Lefteye and I had Vinnie319 and Chefhunter34 with us. We all met up at the hillbilly hall at 5:15 and Vinnie got it done early. At 7:15 I heard him shoot and sent a text. He assured me that he believed it was a good shot and was confident. I told him that out of respect for the other hunters in our hunting party we needed to wait until at least 9:30 to recover his deer. Chefhunter34 saw a nice six point and I got video and passed on two other nice bucks. It was a great day in the woods with fellow NJH members. Vinnie shot a spike and by the smile you would have thought it was a state record. Way to go Vin and congrats on your trophy. You did a great job gutting your first deer by the way! [up]
