Well, took this huge bodied eight pointer this evening. Was hoping to see one of his buddies show up but he came in following a doe and he gave me a nice broadside shot. Want to thank Angel (Ducati) for sharing in the hunt and running the camera. Great job man, you might have a new career
This buck is the short eight and his a mature buck. With permit starting next friday and my bigger target bucks not movingI decided to thin the short eight out of the herd. This buck was rutting as you can see from his swollen neck and he stunk, which was a good sign. Will post for the contest later since I forgot to take a pic of the tag tonight but will do when I get him back from the butcher. Hope everyone who is still after one will connect soon[up]
Hopefully, we will see this hunt on my buddy PigMan the Series show in 2011. He looked great on camera and hope to share that hunt with you guys and gals[up]
