when i met my gf she new nothing about and had no interest in hunting, now after a year of being with me, being around our sport, and now viewing this site with me, she has told me for her birthday next month she wants a bow and to get her hunting license [up], i couldnt believe it when she said it but i am deff proud of this :D

yes sir, time for a trip to cabelas. im gonna get her a crossbow to make things a little easy for her. she came with me for a doe hunt and had a blast. she didnt even say it was gross when i was gutting my doe lol

I got my wife the Diamond Razors Edge 2 weeks ago and she loves it! Bring her to a good shop where they will measure her and get her all setup with something that has a lot of room for adjustments.

Trust me, my wife wasn't into hunting or archery at all, but after hanging out with me and my buddy just target shooting she really wanted a bow. She's not sure if she's gonna hunt yet, but I'm sure by next fall she'll be in the woods. Best advice is DON'T PRESSURE HER! Let her go at her pace cause if u pressure he, it'll take the fun out of her learning and she won't want to do it anymore.

gotta remember that women have to deal with blood monthly and that ain't too pretty either. Generally, women aren't as squimish as much as we men think they are.

Xbow is a good alternative and will probably lead to less frustration and quicker success, then she'll be hooked. There's still time to get her tested and in the woods this year.

BtW: she sounds like a keeper... you know what that means [kiss]

Start her with a bow I've been looking at them for my wife, she passed her shotgun and muzzy class hasnt hunted yet, but as long as she shows interest theres hope, congrats to you and her
