They open at 6:30 I dont think Mike will charge you for something that simple. Tell him Big John from the UBNJ sent you down.

He is closed from 430 to 630 for dinner and stays open until like 930. You want to be waiting when he gets back so you are first in line, it gets busy. Its mainly just mike that works on the bows so be there first or you could be waiting for hours or days!

At worst if your bow is adjustable without changing mods it should be cheap. Mike knows more than most , listen and learn. He comes off harsh but he's the man.

A&M is great, Mike (owner) is the one who set me up with everything I needed. I referred him to NJGunner and the same with him as well.

Chances are, he won't charge you for something like that. Mike's a good guy and he takes care of his customers, unlike some other places that try to "sell" you stuff.

Wrong. He didn't do that good a job on Vinnie's bow. He neglected to tie off the peep into place. An earlier thread of Vin asking about why he was shooting different was due to the peep moving because it wasn't tied down. That was a poor oversight by AM.

If you go there, better check your peeps, peeps. [ko]

I can only say good things about A&M. Ive shot his dart system for a couple of years and back in July, I brought my Darton in because it needed to be retuned. Mike spent a lot of time helping me tune a bow, that I did not buy from him, that he got shooting great for me.

His attention to my needs paid off as I shot a new Mathews Z7 while I was there and later bought one, along with new rest, site, etc, etc...

Sometimes the service you get is a reflection of the attitude you project...just a thought.

What did you do to him Joe???
Went there twice to purchase a bow.. told him All Game refered me .. put money down bow never showed..He then gave me a hard time about my deposit.. After a 4wk wait for another bow to come it never showed..

So I stick to someone who wants my $$$$

again I only heard good things about A&M until I went there ..Never again

It could be that his shot is just off. [rofl] He done shot up 3-4 deer that we never found on my property.

Mike is a great resource when you need archery advice ,yea, he comes off gruff at times .He has to deal with anyone that just blows in off the street. Like people that want to " save big " from the Internet or the big box stores and after they buy get no customer support . If you buy from Mike he will do his best to help .

To put my opinion in, i went there to have my bow worked on, and got nothing but attitude. The first question out of his mouth was did you buy this bow from me? Thats how you run a business? He will never see a penny from me again i would rather drive 2 hours

Bought a bow from someone on new jersey hunter then had someone else restring it. wasnt done right. Mike fixed the problem now the bow shoots great. Mike has a lot of knowledge, the man can tune a bow better than anyone i have ever dealt with. people say he has an attitude, I say people cant deal with the fact that he knows his s*#t.

Mixed reviews for me. No doubt a little gruff, almost conceited. But when I first started out, he had no problems setting up my hand me down ProLine for a reasonable price and couldn't be more accommodating to a beginner.

However a few years back I brought my buddy in to "the best guy in the area". And believe me, he was ready to spend "lots of money". We get there at 4:15. Mike offers a Martin package (not what my buddy wanted) and just before we ask to see the new Matthews he says, "Well, I'm going to lunch at 4:30, so you're going to have to come back if you want to try something".WTF[confused] Now I've heard him yak about the cost of rent in Lakewood, but turning us away lost him about $650 in sales. Just came across with a little too much 'tude for me[confusedagain] I think I've been there only once since then.

One thing I find that in nearly ALL shops (hunting and fishing); if a regular is in the room even just to chat, the new guy gets little attention. I've never understood that.[confused]
