Yesterday, I tried to call two Gobblers out of a field and into the woods, but they would not co-operate with me and time ran out as I had to be to work, So this morning, my cameraman 'Fut' and I were set up in a Double Bull blind on the field edge at daybreak. The camera was rolling as two Hens and two Gobblers pitched out into the field and the game was on. Ever so slowly one of them made his way towards us, displaying all the way as the other stayed with the ladies.
Once we were happy with the amount of footage we captured and it was obvious that the other Gobbler was not comeing our way...I dropped the Hammer on the 'Ol SmokePole and when the smoke cleared...A gobbler was down....Completeing my 2010 Turkey 'Tri-Fecta' (one with Bow, Shotgun, and SmokePole) all captured on video for Turkey Tales IV.
(Anyone have a CrossBow I can borrow ?
