I went to a stocked preserve several years ago in the englishtown area. It was a place with several nice lakes that were stocked with different fish. Does anyone know the name?

My niece (3yrs old) wants me to take her fishing for the first time. I want to take her to a place that stocks so hopefully it will be easier to land a fish and keep her interested. Any help would be appreciated.....Thanks

You pay to get in and are suppose to release the fish. If you choose to keep them then you pay again. $11.00 to get in for the older kids and $9.00 for younger ones. Couldn't tell you about three year olds.

the nice thing about molders is they will work with you. If you go there and tell them only your the kids are going to fish they will only charge you for the kids.
We used to have are cub scout fishing derby there and at the end of the day they would say give us what you guys think is fair

Are you going to need to borrow any more cameras for the trip?
I didnt borrow the camera. Me and njgunner used it to view the trail cam pics on the private property that i let him hunt. Its been in my truck since the last time we hunted together. He'll get the camera back. You're like 50 years old and you act like a 10 year old on this site.

Anyway, what does that have to do with my thread? I asked a question and you have nothing better to do than post a dumb ass response. I figured you would chime in with another useless comment. If you dont have anything positive to contribute, then dont post. Its not that hard of a concept.

This place sounds awesome. There is another one up in North Jersey off Rt 23. They are a lot more expensive than this one. The one up north is expensive but they have big bass, hybrid stripers, pickeral and giant trout. http://www.gofishnj.com/

$5.99 a lb. seems like a lot for a fish. Anyone know how much does the place in Englishtown charge per pound. Thats almost 50 bucks for an 8 lb. fish.

Pat, I think that's a great idea taking your young niece. Hope she has a great time.[up][up] ;)

i'm not sure of the name of it but there is a quarry in Newton NJ. Right off 519 i think, that is a stocked pay for fish place. never really looked into it. Good job gettin her into it at a young age.

[down] Yeah, but that's not the total cost. You got admission, boat rental etc. Bring lots of money.
