I am not associated with this sale. I just Saw this one on the web and figured you may be interested

HUD Auction go to this site, click on pike county and then hit search--pic's at the site along with complete HUD property report

This is an "A Frame" cabin located in Dingman's Ferry, PA. Cabin is a year round 2-bedroom home. Needs loads of TLC, but at the HUD price of $35K you can't miss-if you have the cash or can get a mortgage for a second vacation property.

This is right in the heart of the PA Watergap area--If I wasn't so close already-I would buy this in a minute.

120 views in 2 hours[smirk] looks like alot of guys are on the phone with the wife and a mortgage broker.

At 35K payments would be about 300 a month not bad for a lake cabin in the poconos with ton's of state land within a few minutes drive

Good luck to the bidders

the pic was a good one, nice little place, except water and electric problems....for the water problem if someone is interested, contact hookandhoof on this site i know he has done wells up there, then its easy to find an electrician up there

Well and spetic are already installed. Seemingly, you could handle the plumbing issues under $1000. (unless the well pump need replacing, tghen add another 2K. Electrical is likley a $2K issue too. but heck a nice cabin on a 1/2 acre lot in the poconos for $35K (you can also bid 15% below the list price on HUD houses-so you could potentially get this for 30 even
