my favorite are #2 olive zonkers. most popular sizes for streamers are 2 4 6. or whatever the fish are hitting that day.

For trout? I'll use between a size 6 and a size 10.

I agree exactly with Wooly Bugger for trout. Olive, black and root beer (brown like crayfish) in those sizes and weighted to get down. I add a small amount of "flash" in all my buggers to help solicit strikes.

charlie was wishing he had some wooly buggers or streamers yesterday. i only had a couple and i lost them during the day. i pretty much fished the last half of day with a black nose dace and it all unravelled with all the fish i caught on it. lol

small is safe to the fish after seeing everything thrown at them i us 10,12 and 14 cant go wrong[up][up]

I like size 12 & 10 for the South Branch..Will go down to about a size 8 or 6 if the water is high and off color...I save the size 4 or larger for the bigger waters...

This video on how to tie the #2 olive zonker will show you the size. it's really not that big. These are highly effective especially in late summer in the Ken Lockwood Gorge. Strip em fast.
