It used to be like that down here in North Hunterdon but it seems like somebody pulled the plug and they all went down the drain.

I do my scouting when ever im driving past the farm i hunt, there are no birds every time, then the next farm over there are 30 or so just chilling in the feild[wallmad]
Deidre came running in on Saturday after dumping some leaves in the woods behind the house to tell me that she saw a jake back there, although I haven't heard any gobbling. I have to believe that she knows what she saw cause the cat did bring me poult last year.

870, that gobbling can be so annoying. Let me know if you need any help in getting rid of those noisy birds! Have bow will travel! Good luck with them![up]

seems we can't sleep in, in the spring around me. even with the windows shut.
they sound off on any little sound. then the thunder rolls for 1/4 mile with love crazy gobblers.
after a good night of drinking, that morning racket in the trees hurts.[drinking]
