Jon, I use different sounds, usually a hand held mouth call. sometimes electronic. Squealing bird sounds on the electronic call has been working good lately, for what ever reason.
I prefer to hunt during daylight...right before dark is best, During the day I will concentrate on wooded areas, ridge tops etc. Fox will bed down in an area that gives them an advantage point.
In the evening I will hunt open agricultural fields that give me an open view...Brush is hard to see though at night with a light. I focus on frozen swamps, grown up fields, and brushy areas, where they like to hunt.

gunner.. I turn the sight on before every hunt.
I just adjust the brightness for day or night, It is an awesome sight for night hunting !

I practicly wore out my Old Johney Stewart 45's before I got a response..Man I thought I was in heaven when he came out the cassettes. Put in your time and it will happen, You just need to learn the right locations and they should be good from one year to the next, if all things stay the same !

Nice job. Was out last night and the snow was still crunchy with the ice under it. First time out I did not see any eyes.

Based on the positive feedback I have seen,I'm gonna get the mini sniper or the new model they are coming out with.
