people need a place to live and work, we all need jobs, houses, and a place to go to work. If you want wide open spaces move out west, (but dont build a house because it's probably on someones hunting spot)
GVS I understand this point, its just sad too see things like that happen where you have spent such a big part of your life. I have hunted there for 15 years and my father for over 40. Yes people need a place to live, but you act as if these people would be homeless if they didnt have there mansions on top of a little hill on rt 31? The same goes for this new building. Both right on top of a state park, and a valueable resivior. Put it somewhere else, and stop this abuse of what little resources we have left in this state.

i was born and raised in the township. My folks are still there however my wife and i could not afford the taxes. before those houses were there my buddy use to take 2 good bucks a year there. there is still deer all over that place. however we are losing more and more space to the yuppies in ties with there daddylacks and dirt free workboots. go to the meeting. thats the only way to make your voice heard. echo lane if you have ever noticed has a old building or garage back in the thick, it is right on the border of lebanon twp. very sad. across the street from my parents house is one spot i was taught to hun with my father. then mafia man parisi came to town and slammed in a big mess then got whacked . u use to be able to sit on our back deck and relax to the crickets and the coyotes. now you here a bunch of dogs barking all day nad night because the queen of the house doesnt want the dog to get the house dirty. the best part is all the yuppie doctars that live in this section all think they can just hunt anyware they want. yet my dad and i go to hunt and we are called into the police as strange looking men with guns sneaking around the woods. love it or hate it. go to the meeting

This meeting is tomorrow night. Some of you who responded in opposition please come at 7 p.m. We will be forming a grassroots organization meant to protect Spruce Run from this threat and future threats.

Chris

Maybe the Sierra Club should buy the property.
THEM! Never happen but the truth is like much of what this state does that res. was designed all wrong and with the classic lack of fore thought so charactoristic of this state the watershed and surounding lands of the res were never protected and they should have been WAY THE HELL BACK IN THE 60's when that hole was dug and damed.
The thing I don't get is theres more empty office buildings than you can shake a stick at already why mak more dead space?

Where is the municiple building for Clinton. And is there an earlier agenda meeting? That's where they make the decisions

Sierra club won't, but maybe Highlands Coalition or Greenacres will.
Didnt highlands commission just loose some funding due to some of Chrities cuts?

Ok,I have a planning board meeting I have to be at[similar circumstance]but will do everything I can to show up. Find out from the township when their agenda meeting starts,it's usually before the open meeting. You can't question them at the agenda but it's where the council talks and lines up their votes for the open meeting. They can't deny you the right to be at the agenda meeting either, only executive is for council only

When I found out about the meeting there was some confusion about where it was held. I went to the wrong place first and found out it was in the current building where the Clinton Twsp. Sorry for the confusion, but it all worked out in the end.
